This plate is certified to protect against rifle fire as - Full protection up to level three threats with NO additional protection needed, and will defeat multiple spaced hits as per NIJ standards of:

• 7.62mmX39mm bullets (steel core) launched from AK-47 rifle
• 5.56mm SS109 bullets (semi-steel core) launched from M16 automatic rifle
• 7.62mmX51mm 80 type bullets (lead core) launched from M14 automatic rifle
• Sniper bullet.
